Alma Ramirez
ESL Teacher Level 1
Alma Ramirez brings over two decades of experience serving families and individuals across Southern Arizona. With an Associate Degree in Social Services from Pima Community College and a background in Early Childhood Development, Alma has dedicated her career to empowering others through education, support services, and advocacy.
She served 22 years with the Department of Economic Security as a case manager and intake specialist, providing critical support to families seeking self-sufficiency. Alma has also taught parenting, budgeting, and resource navigation classes for organizations including Pima College, TUSD, and Vocational Rehabilitation.
Her experience spans behavioral health and early childhood education, having worked with La Frontera, COPE Behavioral Health, and Child and Family Resources. Passionate, compassionate, and community-driven, Alma continues to be a guiding presence in our outreach efforts.
